Saint Patrick's Day is tomorrow, and that means everyone favorite thing, its time to eat good food and drink great beer, A plate of corned beef, some soda bread and a Guinness I cant think of a more delicious way to celebrate not only the saint but Ireland itself. That said, here is a quick history lesson so you can impress your friends, St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland they say, and is the foremost patron saint of Ireland.Saint Patrick's Day is observed on 17 March, which is said to be the date of his death. It is celebrated inside and outside Ireland as a religious and cultural holiday. In the dioceses of Ireland, it is both a solemnity and a holy day of obligation; it is also a celebration of Ireland itself.
